Xiaomi Phone Problems: Screen, Charging, Battery and Mainboard Faults

1 min read

Xiaomi phones can develop many of the same faults as other Android devices, but model differences mean the correct diagnosis and replacement part can vary considerably. Phone Medic Milton provides independent Xiaomi phone diagnosis and repair in Brisbane.

Screen and touch faults

Visible cracks are straightforward, but a phone can also have a failed OLED or LCD panel with no external damage. Symptoms include coloured lines, black areas, flashing, ghost touches or a completely black display while the phone still vibrates or makes sounds.

Charging and battery problems

Slow charging, intermittent charging and a phone that only charges at a certain cable angle may point to contamination, connector wear, a damaged charging port or a board-level charging fault. Rapid battery drain or random shutdowns can have a separate battery or power-management cause.

Boot loops and mainboard faults

If a Xiaomi device repeatedly restarts, gets unusually hot or shows no response after known-good charging, further board-level diagnosis may be needed. Data recovery considerations can also affect the best repair approach.

Independent Xiaomi repairs in Milton

Phone Medic is an independent workshop and is not presented as an authorised Xiaomi service centre. We inspect the actual fault first, then advise whether a screen, battery, charging-port or more complex repair is appropriate.
